LIMITED SERIES

William DeBilzan is often inspired to dedicate a limited number of paintings to the exploration of a specific theme. The resulting work is usually a fascinating departure from his established style. In a limited series of paintings focused on golf, for example, his figures break from their normally stoic stance as they hit a long fairway drive. In another series he expands the graffiti and single words that populate his main body of work into witty phrases.
